Find your people in the city you love. Boston Conversations uses intentional social formats to create genuine belonging that feels seamless and rewarding.

The Solution: Boston Conversations is built differently. We use structured rounds and assigned tables to remove the barriers of entry: you'll meet new people every 20 minutes, guided by prompts, with no need to "work the room" or perform.

Since 2022, we've connected hundreds of Bostonians and helped spark friendships, collaborations, and ongoing community ties.

People tell us they leave energized, not drained, because the format handles the awkward parts so they can focus on actually connecting.

Our core events are free.

We believe this kind of infrastructure is what cities like Boston need: accessible, intentional spaces where connection isn't left to chance.

How our Events Work

We handle the logistics so you can focus on the conversation.

Check-In & Setup

6:30 PM

Arrive, grab a nametag, and sign in on your phone. Navigate to the Live Event Page and wait for the round to start.

Your First Table

6:45 PM

The system assigns you a table number. You’ll sit with a small group (3-5 people).

Rotating Conversations

7:00 – 8:30 PM

Once the timer goes off, check your phone for a your next table.

You’ll meet new people each time you switch.

Topics: Your phone displays questions for each round.

Intermission

7:25 PM

A 15-minute break to grab a drink or continue a thread from the previous table.

Open Social

8:30 PM

The event ends, this is free-form time to exchange contacts, or carry on with an interesting discusison.

How the Conversation Works

Kick things off: One person at the table volunteers to read the first prompt aloud.
Go at your own pace: Everyone can see the questions on their phones. Read, respond, and listen without rushing.
Go with the flow: it's ok to go off-topic
Never get stuck: If a topic stalls out, just scroll to the next prompt.

Common Questions

"Do I need to come with a friend?"

No. In fact, ~90% of attendees arrive solo. Our format creates the introductions for you.

"What if I run out of things to say?"

You won't. The prompts do the heavy lifting. You can relax and just answer the question without worrying about performing.

"What if the conversation isn't clicking?"

The table switches are timed (20 minutes). You get a fresh start with a new group regularly, so you never feel stuck in a dynamic that doesn't work for you.
