The Solution: Boston Conversations is built differently. We use structured rounds and assigned tables to remove the barriers of entry: you'll meet new people every 20 minutes, guided by prompts, with no need to "work the room" or perform.
Since 2022, we've connected hundreds of Bostonians and helped spark friendships, collaborations, and ongoing community ties.

The Promise: Structured enough to feel approachable, open enough to get real. You'll meet people you wouldn't encounter in your day-to-day, not because you worked the room, but because we designed the system to make it happen.

Time commitment: 2 hours, once every 4 weeks
What you get: You'll meet everyone, not just your table, and you'll leave knowing you created something people remember.

What you get: You'll help shape the digital culture and gain experience in community moderation.
We handle the logistics so you can focus on the conversation.
Arrive, grab a nametag, and sign in on your phone. Navigate to the Live Event Page and wait for the round to start.
The system assigns you a table number. You’ll sit with a small group (3-5 people).
Once the timer goes off, check your phone for a your next table.
You’ll meet new people each time you switch.
Topics: Your phone displays questions for each round.
A 15-minute break to grab a drink or continue a thread from the previous table.
The event ends, this is free-form time to exchange contacts, or carry on with an interesting discusison.
"Do I need to come with a friend?"
No. In fact, ~90% of attendees arrive solo. Our format creates the introductions for you.
"What if I run out of things to say?"
You won't. The prompts do the heavy lifting. You can relax and just answer the question without worrying about performing.
"What if the conversation isn't clicking?"
The table switches are timed (20 minutes). You get a fresh start with a new group regularly, so you never feel stuck in a dynamic that doesn't work for you.
